KISL MEET INFO SHEET

 

 

SATURDAY, JANUARY 28, 2017

 

​~  PARKING - - On Saturday, parking will be located at the Kingston Pike Building.  

 Shuttle busses will run between the Kingston Pike Building and the        

 Allan Jones  pool throughout the meet.  Busses will start at 6:30am 

 and run until at least 2:00pm, then run from 3:30pm until 10:00       

 pm.  You may also meter park on Volunteer Blvd.  If you choose 

 not to park at the designated areas, you are parking at your own 

 risk and could be subjected to being towed.  

 

​~  7am….aquatic center doors open

​​~  PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!!  Team must find a spot to camp out1

~  WARM-UPS….8:30am – 8:50am

​​**(be behind the blocks, ready to get in at 8:25)

~  HEAT SHEETS will not be sold for preliminaries.  Heat sheets will be posted on 

   the KISL website (www.kisl-swim.com) no later than Friday, January 27th.  

   Teams and families may download and print the heat sheet without cost.  The 

   heat sheet may be viewed on MEET MOBILE.

 

~  NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY MAY BE USED DURING THE MEET!

 

~  COOLERS are not allowed in the stands

​~  9am….meet starts (preliminary session)

~  TIME TRIALS- at discretion of the referee there may be Time Trials     

                         available to swimmers attempting to achieve TISCA State      

                                     Championship qualifying times(follows the preliminary event) only 

                                     for events you  swam that day.  Coaches must request Time Trials 

                                     through the Meet  Referee.  Entry fees for Time Trials will be $3.00.  

                                     Cutoff for requesting a Time Trial swim is the beginning f the 400     

                                     yard Freestyle Relay on each separate course.

~  FINALS (top 16 finishers in each event)

~  Any swimmer qualifying for a final eventbased on the results of the       

   preliminaries must notify the meet referee within 30 minutes after 

   announcement of the qualifiers for that event that he/she will not 

   compete.

​​~  5:10pm open warm-ups

​​~  6pm Finals

 

​ ~  500 free is a timed final

​​~ slower heats swim in the morning session

​​~  fastest two heats swim at finals

​

​~  Dive over starts

​

​~  Relay cards (take to blocks with you)
