Practice will now include dryland training.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMERS will get out of the pool at 4:00 and go to Fit One for drylands and weight training; Middle School Swimmers will spread out in the pool and do drills.  On Mondays and Wednesdays, AT THE END OF PRACTICE, MIDDLE SCHOOL SWIMMERS will do drylands on deck at the pool until 5:00 pm.  SO, middle school swimmers will stay until 5:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and high school swimmers will stay until 5:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. High School swimmers will be dismissed at 4:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays, while the middle school swimmers will be doing their drylands until 5:00pm. BRING WORKOUT CLOTHES AND SHOES on the days specified for your grade.  It will be necessary to make QUICK CHANGES.  As the weather gets cooler, make sure your training clothes are appropriately warm.

The next meet will be at Adairsville. On December 10. Please watch for the form to come home next week with your child. (They CAN fill the form out while at the pool when the form is distributed and hand it in then!) They will need to pick out two individual events to swim. Please let Coach Buchanan or me know if you are not able to attend this meet.

Our Christmas party is Tuesday, December 20, @ 6pm at Amigo's Mexican Restaurant, in Harrison, next to Island Cove Marina. Families are invited, and each person pays for their own dinner.  For the past several years, swimmers have brought a new toy or game for a child age 4 to 12, for distribution by the Key Club, which Coach Buchanan also sponsors. Do not wrap the gift.

We need a few parents to volunteer to decorate before the party… Please email or text me if you can help doing this for the team.

Final payments for those on payment plans are due Thursday December 1. If you need to make additional payments please contact me.

    Thanks so much!
