Coach Buchanan sent out a Rained Out text alert around 8:30 Thursday night.  If you didn't receive it, please sign up ASAP.  This is how last minute changes like weather effects, get communicated.  

Both parents and swimmers should sign up, so everyone receives text alerts.  Go to http://www.rainedout.com/, and search for our organization: Ooltewah HS / East Hamilton HS Swim Club.  1) Sign up by entering your 10-digit phone number (must be able to receive texts), agree to terms of service. 2) Receive your validation code, enter it, and you will receive a confirmation text.

Unless there is actually THUNDER AND LIGHTNING, we will have swim practice. The dome was closed today and the rain had no effect on practice. The rain really cooled things off today, and it's chilly when the swimmers get out of the water, SO, swimmers should have their towel at poolside, and warm clothes to put on after practice.  

Payments or installments of payments were due TODAY, October 1.  We will audit paperwork and payments over fall break, and will let you know if you still have forms that need to be turned in, and if you need to make a payment.  Please get current on payments, or we will have to sit swimmers out after fall break.  No one wants to do that, or wants any swimmer to be sat out because of lack of payment.  We have many up front costs, and a lot of people on payment plans, so we must insist on payments being made on time.  You have the ability to pay with credit cards this year for the first time. If you haven't paid, please pay online, or the very next time your swimmer attends practice.  Thanks.
